The Speedmaster Surf Telescopic is a mid-priced, fast action, long range surf rod which combines a high quality carbon blank with tip quality fittings and powerful casting performance.<br>Combining the convenience of a telescopic construction, with a powerful, long range casting action, the Speedmaster Surf Telescopic sits in the middle of the Shimano Tele surf range and offers a fantastic combination of high performance and value.<br>Designed with an extra fast tip action, this great looking rod range enables you to really step on the power when you need extra distance, but still retains the sensitivity to show bites from smaller fish when using a light line approach.<br><br><br><br>The casting power of the Speedmaster is generated by the use of High Modulus Full Carbon, combined with Diaflash construction in the lower part of the blank. This combination generates remarkable tip speed, which you will certainly notice when casting weights towards the top end of the casting rating or when facing into strong winds.<br>The stunning blue blank is fitted with Stainless Steel Fuji Fazlite K-type guides which are corrosion resistant, lightweight and reduce friction. If you use braid, you will be pleased to know the Fazlite linings of the guides are also braid safe.
