Fitted with Shimano’s exclusive Fightin’ Drag technology, this is the reel for fighting larger than average fish.<br>If you like to fish for larger than average fish like big tench, large bream, powerful chub or medium sized carp, with either a float or a feeder, the Super GT is the ideal choice. The powerful 5.0:1 (2500 size) or the 4.8:1 (4000 size) gear ratio generates impressive winding power and combined with the Fightin’ Drag offers extreme control and versatility when playing hard fighting fish. The smaller 2500 makes a great float or small feeder reel whilst the larger 4000 size is more suited to larger floats and feeders.<br>The fabulous Fightin’ Drag system of the Super GT is complimented with other great features such as AR-C spool, Aero Wrap II and Power Roller, which result in excellent line management and casting performance, plus a lightweight yet durable XT-7 body.
