Salmon Fishing Kit with a Baitcasting Reel, for the Narva River and Other Salmon Rivers
This kit combines a Westin W2 Salmon-T rod, Westin W6 BC301 SSG reel, braided line, leader material, sinkers and tube flies.
Rod: Westin W2 Salmon-T, 360 cm, three sections, casting weight up to 70 g. The long rod helps manage line in the current and maintain contact while playing a fish.
Reel: Westin W6 BC301 SSG, left-hand retrieve, 5.6:1 gear ratio and 10+1 bearings.
Line: Westin W3 Oceanic Swirl 8-Braid, 0.285 mm diameter and 19.4 kg breaking strength. The eight-strand braid helps transmit rig movement and bites.
Leader material: Westin W6 ST5 Fluorocarbon, 0.44 mm, 11.1 kg breaking strength, 25 m spool.
Sinkers: Kinetic Anti Snag Sinker, 30 g and 40 g. Choose the weight for the current and depth, and keep the total weight of the entire rig within the rod’s 70 g casting limit.
Flies: Eumer Classic Fox Tube Fly in several colours. Suitable hooks and connecting tackle must be added separately.
